Obama Speaks to the UN

In case you missed it, or decided to ignore it, President Obama went before the United Nations and delivered, what most thought, was a speech on terror groups like ISIS.  A way to unit the many groups against such radical Islamic groups which threaten to destabilize our modern world.

However, even his own words are at odds with what he was trying to say.  He went though telling the members about how the USA will not be at war with a religion.

“I have made it clear that America will not base our entire foreign policy on reacting to terrorism. Rather, we have waged a focused campaign against al Qaeda and its associated forces – taking out their leaders, and denying them the safe-havens they rely upon. At the same time, we have reaffirmed that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Islam teaches peace.”

Yet, Obama’s foreign policy has been reacting to terrorism.  Why?  Because he refuses to believe in radical muslim terrorists.  He will never be able to act against terror due to this, and will forever be reacting to it.  Its been evident in his handling of Syria, Egypt, Iraq, and now ISIS.  His upbringing limits his ability to respond to the real events.

He even appears to contradict his statement later one, though he does so by putting down Christianity.

“There is nothing new about wars within religions. Christianity endured centuries of vicious sectarian conflict. Today, it is violence within Muslim communities that has become the source of so much human misery.”

Of course that was not the only thing he mentioned.  He goes on to talk about Israel and Palestine and the need to for peace there, but refuses to place blame on a radical group called Hamas for continuously disrupting the peace there.

He even goes on to bring race inside the US.

“I realize that America’s critics will be quick to point out that at times we too have failed to live up to our ideals; that America has plenty of problems within our own borders. This is true. In a summer marked by instability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, I know the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri – where a young man was killed, and a community was divided.”

A President who continues to bash the USA in front of the world.  This is the leader who is trying to organize nations to fight radical muslim groups like ISIS.  How can he do that, when he can’t even call the enemy by what they are and has to degrade everyone else as well.

Its no wonder getting a collation together is so difficult and radical muslim groups do not fear him.
