Obama Administration on Hostage Takers

In case you missed it, the Obama administration has once again made another goof.  This time, the consequences could be deadly for Americans, especially after the what the administration has done this year.

Recall earlier in the year when the administration went ahead and made a trade with a terror group for an American soldier.  Bergdahl, the soldier which has had numerous problems, including being called a traitor by others.  They released five terrorists from Guantanamo Bay for Bergdahl’s rescue under the guise of his health was in danger.

Fast forward to present day and the recent news is over a young American journalist who was beheaded by isis.  All Americans were outraged by the brutality of these sub-humans.  But the administration has made a new statement.

Caitlin Hayden, spokeswomen of the National Security Council, made the following statement:

“We unequivocally reject the payment of ransom to terrorists.”

Now, the question becomes, what did the administration do in regards to Bergdahl?  Was that not paying a ransom to terrorists in the form of releasing five terrorists from Guantanamo.

There are some reports that isis asked for $100 million for Foley, which the administration refused.  But one must ask, the reason why isis even asked for so much was because of previous negotiations with terror groups for Bergdahl.  Of course, there was a rescue mission which was tried, but failed.

The trading of Bergdahl for five terrorists appears to have backfired on the administration with the execution of Foley.  The question is now, why is the administration suddenly back to no payments for terrorists?  For now, only the administration knows.
