Charlie Brown Christmas

By now you’ve probably heard about the Johnson County school officials who banned a certain biblical passage from a school play over the fact one person complained.

Seems like the other parents took matters into their own hands and there was nothing the officials could do about it.  When the break came and Linus was to give the famous speech, the child was to stand there.  That’s when parents took over.

They said the missing line that school officials were too scared to say.

“Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in the manger. And suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, good will toward men.’”

A message so central to the play and it took others what liberals won’t do, recite it for a play.

Its a sad state of affairs when officials will ban a part of a play over one person due to line from Christianity, but these same officials would have no problem with sending these same kids to a mosque over the complaints of many.
