Lack of Transparcy Helped Pass Obamacare

Back in 2009 there was a large debate in the political realm.  It was all over a massive, 2,000+ page monster bill called the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or another name is the Obamacare.

It was touted by the Obama Administration as a way for Americans to gain healthcare which would be affordable while at the same time allowing those with healthcare to keep it.  The CBO even went and said that it would help reduce spending and help the deficit.

Now however, new information by those who wrote the bill has come out.  Jonathan Gruber is one of the architects of the bill. He recently came out with a statement that should shock and embarrass anyone who calls themselves a democrat.

“This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes,” Gruber stated. “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” he explained adding, “Basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really critical to getting the thing to pass.”

This about what he said.  It was stated in a way to confuse the CBO so they would have trouble with it.  That means that the numbers the CBO gave were distorted.  Add in if the CBO had trouble, what about the government trying to implement it.

Another factor is he comes right out and calls the American voter stupid.  He says that was critical to getting it passed.  If one of the people writing the bill thinks the American citizen is stupid, what are they putting into the bill?

How can you trust someone who thinks you are stupid to look out for you?

Answer, you can’t.  But democrats will continue to believe the lies thinking the democratic party is looking out for them when all they are looking out for is themselves.
