President Barack Obama recently stated the following remark”
The President stated that Ramadan ““reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy. That is why we stand with people of all faiths, here at home and around the world, to protect and advance their rights to prosper, and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communities.”
Obama’s remarks left not only me, but many others speechless. One such person is Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, who posted a reply back to Obama.
Obama Praises Muslims for Human Rights
I would agree with the President if not for the sheer terror muslims are spreading around though the Middle East against any group who does not believe as they do.
In Israel you have hamas, which will not rest unless all Jews have been killed. In Iraq you have groups like ISIS willingly going after, terrorizing, bullying, threatening and killing Christians. In Syria you have similar events going on against Christians.
Yet, throughout all of this, our President wants to ignore any such realities, as does the majority of the muslim community. Neither of them are willing to stand up and say they are against what is going on. Why? Are they afraid, or do they agree with what is going on? Their silence is glaring.
There is one other, interesting wording in his speech. He, and democrats, time and again claim Obama is not muslim. Yet, he states, “That is why we stand with people of all faiths,” its not muslims, or they, but we. We who?
Of course all of this does not even get into the history of America, which Obama claims muslims had a profound impact on shaping. In shaping our nation, I would say no, they have not until recently with terror attacks and wishing death upon our country. That does tend to shape your nation a bit.
It would have been nice if he provided some examples.
Its time to see the radicals for what they are, and stand up to them now. But it appears the President, democrats and liberals would rather join them, then help defend Christians. Its obvious he does not stand up to defend what is going on to others by those of the Islamic faith.
