On the verge of the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks Ashley Pratte, of the Young America’s Foundation went to George Washington University campus in Washington DC. They were asked a couple of routine, simple questions, including:
What important date in American history is coming up?
Do you know what ISIS is?
Are you aware of ISIS beheading to American journalists?
Can you name either journalist?
Can you name a celebrity whose pictures were recently hacked?
It is a sad state of affairs when kids do not know basic world news. However something which is ignored here, is the even worse part of what news organizations are putting out as news. They purposefully push news stories like the celebrity photo hacking over things like a beheading.
They don’t want our kids to know they are heading out into a dangerous world full of evil groups like radical muslims. Its safer to stay with celebrities.
I can only imagine a young Obama giving similar answers when he was in college, because his foreign policy shows his lack of understanding.
