RIP Robin Williams

Yesterday comedic star Robin Williams was found dead in his home.  Reports are that he committed suicide after a long time of battling depression, and effects of addiction during his life.

The world will feel the loss of the comedic genius of the man, who despite flaws, was funny.  He was a supporter of US troops, and appeared on many TV shows and movies, from ‘Mork and Mindy’ to ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’.  He also did voices for animated films such as ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Ferngully’.  One of the best lines was in ‘Good Morning Vietnam’:

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn’t we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? ‘Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we’d all be put out in K.P.

As a comedian, not everyone thought he was funny, I had times where he was, and others where he was down right hilarious.  That’s like any comedian, but he had that ability to think quick on his feet, which made him one of the best.

God bless, and may you find peace.
