The youth of today don’t know what Socialism is.\u00a0 They hear about how great it is, and that’s the lure.\u00a0 It sounds great.\u00a0 Equality for all.<\/p>\n
However the truth is much harder, stark and depressing.<\/p>\n
A professor I back\u00a0about 1990 or so,\u00a0was from Poland.\u00a0 He told us a story of the first time his mom was finally able to see him in the US.<\/p>\n
He went, picked her up, emotional, after all he hadn’t seen her in years.\u00a0 On the way back from the airport he realized he needed some beer, and stopped at a gas station to pick some up.\u00a0 His mother came in and stood there, amazed.\u00a0 She had never seen so much food in one place before in her life.<\/p>\n
This wasn’t even a Safeway, HEB, or large grocery store like that.<\/p>\n
That is the difference between socialism and capitalism which the youth do not understand.\u00a0 They think it can’t happen to a modern country.<\/p>\n
