{"id":1177,"date":"2015-08-20T09:43:37","date_gmt":"2015-08-20T14:43:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.conservativeme.com\/?p=1177"},"modified":"2015-08-20T09:43:53","modified_gmt":"2015-08-20T14:43:53","slug":"conspiracy-theories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.conservativeme.com\/?p=1177","title":{"rendered":"Conspiracy Theories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not one to believe in conspiracies, I know the secret to them.\u00a0 Take some facts, twist them around, add in a bit of emotional connection and presto, a conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>What do I mean, the best and easiest way is to do the following.\u00a0 I won&#8217;t lie, or anything else, but I will twist the truth and appeal to your emotional senses.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We need to ban DHMO, or dyhydrogenmonoxide, from our lives.\u00a0 This is a dangerous compound which is in, and does the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DHMO kills thousands each year from accidental inhalation.<\/li>\n<li>DHMO is used in nuclear power plants<\/li>\n<li>DHMO is present in your baby&#8217;s bottle which you feed him\/her.<\/li>\n<li>DHMO in its solid form has been known to cause tissue damage.<\/li>\n<li>DHMO in gas form has burned hundreds of people.<\/li>\n<li>DHMO is a major component of acid rain, which is very destructive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a partial list, and everything here is true, nothing is false but I presented the information in such a way to steer the reader to a conclusion to ban DHMO.<\/p>\n<p>First off, what is DHMO, we know it commonly as water.\u00a0 Now let&#8217;s look at the list.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thousands dies each year from accidental drownings all over the world.<\/li>\n<li>water is used as a coolant for nuclear power planets.<\/li>\n<li>Of course water is present in your baby&#8217;s bottle.<\/li>\n<li>Prolonged exposure to ice can cause frost bite.<\/li>\n<li>A gas burn like this is more commonly called a steam burn, happens a lot in kitchens.<\/li>\n<li>Without water you cannot have an acid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I appealed to the sense of nuclear power, death, a child, and the environment all which were designed to evoke a small emotional response.<\/p>\n<p>So next time you read a conspiracy, see for yourself about this truth and emotional response.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not one to believe in conspiracies, I know the secret to them.\u00a0 Take some facts, twist them around, add in a bit of emotional connection and presto, a conspiracy.
