The White House took no time to get involved with the situation with the following statement:<\/p>\n
\u201cThe president is the father of two daughters. And like any American, he believes that domestic violence is contemptible and unacceptable in a civilized society,\u201d White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said in a statement.\u00a0 Hitting a woman is not something a real man does, and that\u2019s true whether or not an act of violence happens in the public eye, or, far too often, behind closed doors.\u00a0 Stopping domestic violence is something that\u2019s bigger than football \u2014 and all of us have a responsibility to put a stop to it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
I will agree with the statement, there is no place in today’s society for such actions.\u00a0 It is unacceptable.<\/p>\n
