{"id":414,"date":"2014-08-21T08:25:47","date_gmt":"2014-08-21T13:25:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.conservativeme.com\/?p=414"},"modified":"2014-08-21T08:25:47","modified_gmt":"2014-08-21T13:25:47","slug":"do-we-have-a-narcissistic-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.conservativeme.com\/?p=414","title":{"rendered":"Do We Have a Narcissistic President?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Narcissism is defined as &#8220;<span class=\"oneClick-link oneClick-available\">inordinate<\/span> <span class=\"oneClick-link\">fascination<\/span> <span class=\"oneClick-link\">with<\/span> <span class=\"oneClick-link\">oneself;<\/span> <span class=\"oneClick-link\">excessive<\/span> <span class=\"oneClick-link oneClick-available\">self-love;<\/span> <span class=\"oneClick-link oneClick-available\">vanity&#8221;.\u00a0 Does this define our current President, does he have what some called Narcissistic Personality Disorder, also known as megalomania?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If we take a look at Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, specifically the DSM-IV-TR you can come up with a list of\u00a0symptoms of this disorder.<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expects to be recognized as superior and special, without superior accomplishments<\/li>\n<li>Expects constant attention, admiration and positive reinforcement from others<\/li>\n<li>Envies others and believes others envy him\/her<\/li>\n<li>Is preoccupied with thoughts and fantasies of great success, enormous attractiveness, power, intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Lacks the ability to empathize with the feelings or desires of others<\/li>\n<li>Is arrogant in attitudes and behavior<\/li>\n<li>Has expectations of special treatment that are unrealistic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Obama started off his Presidency with a bang of recognition without accomplishments.\u00a0 If anyone can recall, he won the Noble Peace Prize.\u00a0 Even today, more and more are asking what did he do to deserve such a prize.\u00a0 He was recognized by the world as superior and special even before he did anything.<\/p>\n<p>Paying attention to Obama over the years his behavior has been of one who constantly looks down upon the rest of us.\u00a0 The arrogant attitude is present even in his attending important meetings, the very meetings which he has missed several times.<\/p>\n<p>Like the Jobs Council he created to help create jobs, yet he never attended one meeting, and finally got rid of it.\u00a0 Or two meetings in February where he missed updates on what was going on in the Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>However, he has no problem in attending fundraisers and golfing.\u00a0 He is unapologetic in his behavior.\u00a0 He has a fantasy that if he speaks it, people will automatically follow.<\/p>\n<p>And, he does lack the feeling to empathize with others.\u00a0 The best example is his talking about the shooting down of Malaysian flight #17.\u00a0 If you watch the short speech he gave, 30-40 seconds, watch his hands, his body language, and even the tone of his voice.\u00a0 It was as if he did not wish to be talking about that.\u00a0 He had zero passion.\u00a0 Again, something he is lacking when talking about other events like the murder of thousands by isis.<\/p>\n<p>This is the President we get when the media fails to do their job.\u00a0 If they had questioned Obama half as hard as they had McCain and Romney, we would not have him as President.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Narcissism is defined as &#8220;inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity&#8221;.\u00a0 Does this define our current President, does he have what some called Narcissistic Personality Disorder, also known as megalomania?
