Al Gore.<\/p>\n
Remember him, the former Vice President of the United States, the one who lost a Presidential bid in 2000, and the same one who came out with a movie about Global Warming and its dangers, which has been highly criticized by just about everyone.\u00a0 The same person who wants the Carbon Tax, yet has a high Carbon footprint.<\/p>\n
The same person who not long ago had\u00a0had also invested in a\u00a0TV network called Current TV.\u00a0 The same one which The Blaze offered to buy but instead decided to sell to a group called Al Jazeera for $500 million.<\/p>\n
Well according to\u00a0lawyer David Boies, it appears that the Qatar owned Al Jazeera is trying to give itself a discounted price from what they agreed upon a couple of years ago.<\/p>\n
It is indeed ironic, and a bit of a slap in the face to Al Gore, and other investors of Current TV, that this has had to happen.\u00a0 This action also does not look good for an already struggling Al Jazeera TV, which is struggling to find viewers in the US.<\/p>\n
In hindsight, Al Gore and the other investors should have taken Glenn Beck up on his offer to buy the channel,\u00a0 At least this way if something like this happened, it would have been good news for liberals.\u00a0 Instead they come away looking foolish once more for trusting a muslim based group.<\/p>\n
When will they learn?<\/p>\n
