It seems like there is so much about racism in today’s world.\u00a0 Everyone on the left is triggered by something, or some action its to the point of ridiculousness.<\/p>\n
However, I have come to ask a question of such actions by the left.\u00a0 What is the end game?<\/p>\n
In other words, at what point do they consider ‘racism’ of their definition to be over?<\/p>\n
For me, two segments of Martin Luther King’s ‘I\u00a0Have a Dream’ speech\u00a0come to mind:<\/p>\n
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
and,<\/p>\n
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The endgame for racism is here.\u00a0 A world where we no longer see color.\u00a0 Where we look at the skin of a person as we would hair color, or eye color, or the height of a person.\u00a0 It makes up who they are, but doesn’t define who that person is anymore than how tall a person is.<\/p>\n
You look at someone and see them for who they are, not for the color of their skin.<\/p>\n
However, I feel as if the left wants me to see a person for the color of their skin.\u00a0 And I don’t see the end game upon which racism is conquered.\u00a0 I only see a world where racism continues under their efforts to ‘end’ racism.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
