He ran unsuccessfully for Congress one, was a lawyer, also has a degree in history.\u00a0 Was elected to the House and in 2012 was elected as governor of Indiana.<\/p>\n
Pence is considered a conservative with ties to the TEA party, a sure bet that democrats will attack that (after all, the TEA party is dangerous despite evidence to the contrary).<\/p>\n
Pence is a way for Trump to reach out to the conservative base of the GOP and overall is a solid pick.<\/p>\n
